Tubualr A arms and Tubular K frame available!

Am I missing something? There isn't a listing for a Tubular A Frame on your site for an Early A Body, Only 67 and up. What advantage does this A Frame have over the stock unit if it uses the stock steering components?

Central FL members - guys ok?

Just north of the ones in Lake county, My Dad lives in the Villages right next to Lady Lake. I didn't see any news coverage on the damage there. I seems like they were concentrating on the Church & trailer parks that got hit. There were over a thousand homes damaged, don't know how many were...

    Fire Hazard

I keep two fire extinguisers, one inside for the wife in case I set myself on fire. Plus I have a smoke alarm in the garage that I keep setting off.

    Finally made some progress

Well my progress has hit a standstill, My dad needed a new kitchen, My wife wanted a new guest bath, and now a new master bath. The patch panels I got from Layson's, once I got a good look at them, weren't even close to factory. I ended up fixing the rust myself. It would have been more work to...

    Finally made some progress

I'm starting the install today, & hoping to have one side in this week end. Basicly the panels are good except for behind the wheel well, below the body line, and the lip of the wheel well and just in front of well. Yea I'll have to fab my outer wheelhouses too. I'll get some pictures to show my...

    Finally made some progress

Got a package today - I ordered these 2 weeks ago from Layson's & was told they would ship within a couple of weeks, They were packed very well with no damage when they arrived. The quality isn't the greatest though, you can see, there is some ripples just above the wheel wells that will need to...

Does your S/O like your early A-body?

My wife wasn't too impressed, until she started driving it. We sold he car, and she had to drive the cuda for a month until we got another car for her. She loves it now.

    Content in watching them rust.

I used to live on a well traveled road, and had people stopping all the time trying to buy my 66 Cuda, I finally got tired of being the one saying "I get around to it one day" I'm making the time for it now. My grandfather had several cars on his farm that he refused to sell, for no apparent...

Looks like an easy fix to me, too. Looking good Adam!

Leaking gas tank filler tubes ?

I believe the issue is with the filler tube. The early cars did not use a vented cap. There is a vent tube that connects to the top of the filler tube, and hangs down beside the fuel tank. When fuel sloshes around, some will spill out the vent, usually only on a full tank. I noticed that if I...

    Finally made some progress

Thanks, but so far all I've done is strip the paint off the quarter, & put a coat of primer on. I did weld in a small section in the trunk and painted the floors top & bottom w/ Por-15. I'm going to have to replace the lower quarters on both sides due to rust.

    Finally made some progress

I finally decided to make the time I needed to get started on the Barracuda, with any luck I'll have it painted in six months. At least that's what I'm shooting for. Click on the pic to see the other pics.

    Welding wire ?

Thanks for the info, I'm in the same process right now. Getting ready to weld in new floor pans & lower rear 1/4's. It's about time I got started.
