If you have a dial indicator set it on each rocker on set your dial at the highest point (zero) and then slowly hand turn the engine and record each cylinder. ( disconnect the battery) That will see if you have worn out lobe... If all good then check your valve gap, timing. get a good timing...

I would say a bit small, I run a 451 (440 block) stock stroke, 690 comp roller cam, 345 ported indy heads, big valves, indy intake cfm I run a 1250 cfm demon (Barry Grant) no stall, bogs, hick ups, great throttle response. What kind of fuel pump are you running, need allot of fuel and watch...

Yes I had this happen to me twice, once thru craigslist and the second thru racing junk. About a month apart the same story actually giving more money than asking and pay the extra fees,ect. They gave the same story at sea forgot credit card help me with shipping cost thru western union pay...

Update on strange axles: According to (Edwen) at Strange Axles these axles are 29 1/4'' long with 2 1/2'' of spline. they will fit 65 and up pre bodies, AFTER MARKET POSI UNIT, SPOOLS WILL HAVE ENOUGH AXLE TO CUT( ABOUT 3/8 TO 1/2'') WITH STILL OVER 1 1/2'' OF SPLINE.. HOPE THIS...
