do yo all agree that a 750 is to big of carb for my application, it will cost $100 for me to fix my current carb // id rather buy new

i have just bought a 67 dart gt---full body off restoration-- 318--large lift cam----727 with kit -----narrowed moser rear end-----runs great with the afb carb //dual plane stock intake--- but its leaking around the gaskets and maybe the rods also-----elderbrock 600 or 750 performer is 20% off...
