    Guns, Dogs and Blades QnA

I had a black bear walk up on me three different times about 10 mins apart last year. He was a curious feller. I almost shot him (season was in) but decided to let him go! This year he won't be as lucky! Lol the last time he came within 5 yards of me I literally could have poked him with my...

    Guns, Dogs and Blades QnA

Thanks man! Yea its alot of work but fun work! It's something I've always wanted to do. And so far I've done it all without any heavy machinery! Ie lathe, mill, etc. I cut that chamber by hand. I am soon going to invest in a lathe tho I've been wanting one for several years I'm getting into some...

    Guns, Dogs and Blades QnA

The parent case is a 3006. I've tried 270s and 8x57 but the 3006 is the easiest. The cartridge is based off of a lengthened 300 savage. It is a 30 degree shoulder 30 cal at 2.25 length. To make the case I simply run a 3006 thru a 300 savage die and push the shoulder back to where it needs to be...

    Guns, Dogs and Blades QnA

@Sublime one Wanted to give you an update on the wildcat cartridge. I have unofficially named it the 300TCJ, I have fitted the barrel to the action. And I got the chamber cut yesterday. Like I said in my last post I have to cut the neck and throat separately I haven't done that yet. Still...

Those that you can't get to from the back or those on a corner like the edge of a fender or door... I'm lost. I gotta learn tho I have several dents in the challenger I gotta...

    New Project

Pics as promised. So with the passenger side I believe I'm just gonna cut the inside frame out and weld it to the door thats on my truck. The dent is alot worse that I thought and I just don't think I'm that good of a body man to fix that one.

    New Project

I have watched a ton of those and they make it look so easy! When i do it, it doesn't work nowhere as good as when they do it lol. I do need to get some better tools tho. The wiper was super easy. I got a switch with the pigtail still on it. And the face plate from a member here. All I did was...

    New Project

I hit the mother load on some parts for the D100 this weekend ! I got 2 really nice bumpers 2 doors. One is perfect the other needs some body work. It has a pretty large dent right at the edge of the door across the body line. It's going to be a hard repair for me as I'm not that great at dent...

[FOR SALE] 1967-1976 2 door hardtop trim

The vinyl/two tone cars have metal studs that little clips attached to to hold the trim in place. I guess technically you could weld some studs on there to attach the trim or come up with a creative way to attach the trim.

    Pinion angle....with pics

You want the car at ride height with the suspension loaded when checking the final angle. There is some math you can do. I measured my original pinion angle with the spring perches and the yoke and then just welded my new perches to the same angle. If you set your pinion angle with no weight on...
