My dad has a 69 Swinger, and I agree they’re awesome cars I just want something different. He used to have a plum crazy 71 Duster so I’m kind of leaning that way.

Have a few good 340 blocks and I’m going to build a 416, just looking around for a good car to put it in. Leaning toward a 70 or 71 Duster or a late 60’s Barracuda. I’m curious what everyone’s vote is.

As a pipefitter i miss doing this kind of work. Seems today they dont let us be craftsmen anymore they just want it done the way its sketched up by some college kid.

Honestly you’ll want a jam nut on each side of that rod coupling, I use them a lot at work and it’s funny how they have a way of vibrating loose.
