So what does a Frat zog stand for?

That's actually not true. As mentioned my Grandfather did this emblem, and my Dad (the oldest) was only 6 years old when the work was done. So the teenager coming up with the name is folk-lore.

Who wants a mopar turbo kit?!?!

Oh yeah, still going on...just waiting for spring here in Michigan to start testing.

Who wants a mopar turbo kit?!?!

Yes you can use the a body driver manifold, but they are very hard to come by. My kit does work with power steering...

Who wants a mopar turbo kit?!?!

Its been a long time since i looked at it, but im 99% sure the magnum manifold even in the correct intended mounting location does not clear the factory a body power steering box. Also there is very little room for the down pipe, and the cross over on the pass side if you do it this way.

Who wants a mopar turbo kit?!?!

Manifolds are a good option for most any turbo build. They are much better at resisting heat cracking then standard mild steel headers, and the turbo itself is usually a much smaller restriction then any manifold oultet anyway, so there usually isn't any power degradation at all. That's...

Oh the green car is the real deal...

Who wants a mopar turbo kit?!?!

My personal motor has a 1/2 filled girdle block, with head and main studs. The test motor for these kits will be a 100% stock bottom end, stock replacement head gaskets, and no studs. The idea is to prove out what a STOCK motor can withstand... modified motors will obviously take more power...

Who wants a mopar turbo kit?!?!

Yes, a turbo is MUCH easier on parts to make power with. Not only does the piston maintain more pressure on the exhaust stroke (which is easier on rods/rod bolts), but more importantly you end up running a lot less timing on a turbo motor. As max pressure gets near TDC, it just tries to push...

Who wants a mopar turbo kit?!?!

Oh yeah, it'll all work on pump gas, it'll just make more on e85 or race gas.

Who wants a mopar turbo kit?!?!

I'll do a pump gas tune after the e85. Just easier to push the limits on good fuel to start with.

Who wants a mopar turbo kit?!?!

I'll start at 8psi and go up from there. The car is going to be run non intercooled on e85, so I know the fuel will take quite a bit of boost. I've run 23psi with my good pistons/rods in my green car. (still a cast crank).

Who wants a mopar turbo kit?!?!

Just waiting for the snow to melt now to start testing... I've hesitated to show pics, but the design is pretty solid now so I don't mind showing pictures. The bright green is in an A-body, and the brown is a B-body.

No cost will be reased until they are through testing and tooled up/ready for sale. Just too many variables that can change cost until it's all sorted out and tooled up.

Who wants a mopar turbo kit?!?!

Yeah, trying to accommodate multiple cars, years, etc...is a time consuming problem. If I only had to make these fit one body, or one year, I could knock one of these out REAL fast!

Who wants a mopar turbo kit?!?!

The first kit is done...last biggest challenge was to see if I could make it fit the early driver side waterpump outlet. Unfortunately that just flat out won't work. Just not enough room between the battery tray, lower hose, fan shroud, etc... still hoping to have the car running before...
