[SOLD] 1968 Valiant 2 dr, Atlanta GA

I sold the car to another list member here in Georgia last week. The lack of title made a local sale much easier since they too will be registering the car in Georgia.

No I do not have the OR title either. I bought the car with a bill of sale. I think it came from an estate.

[SOLD] 1968 Valiant 2 dr, Atlanta GA

The car is a 1968, must have had a brain freeze when I typed the title. Georgia does not issue a title on some older cars. It is registered and tagged in Georgia in my name but there is no title.

[SOLD] 1968 Valiant 2 dr, Atlanta GA

I'm probably going to be buying a new Challenger and need to sell the Valiant to make room. The car has a very solid body, rubber floor mat, auto transmission, later model (1973 225) slant 6, needs upholstery work. It's a very plain car, never cut up for a radio. I also have a complete super...

Wide ratio 904...good vs. bad idea

The only real downside to the lower first gear ratio is the car can tend to lug due to the greater gap between first and second if the engine is weak. I noticed that on my 1981 Chrysler Cordoba (stock 318-2 smog motor) but it was still noticeably peppier than the 1980 Cordoba without the lower...

1964 Valiant No Brake or Parking Lights

i am in a similar position with my 1968 Valiant. Working turn signals, but no tail lights or brake lights. I have no idea how long it's been off the road, I suspect 5-10 years. It could be that both the headlight switch and brake light switch are bad. I've had both those fail separately on...

10 wimpiest muscle cars ever- Popular Mechanics

The worst part they didn't mention is the Road Runner (and Aspen R/T) could even be had with a slant 6 the last years. It's a great engine, but not for a performance car in 1978/1980 tune.

    Hello from Atlanta

Original plan was to buy back my totaled 1999 Dakota R/T ans use that engine for the swap. But that did not work out. I may just convert it to a Super 6 and run it like that for a whike.

can someone help decode fender tag?

A22 is probably the date code, which would be a scheduled production date of October 22. N95 may be emission controls, at least it was later on. Edit: Everyone else types faster than me!

    Hello from Atlanta

There are a few more pics here: http://s47.photobucket.com/albums/f159/valiant67/Valiant/ I think I'll be spending most of my time and money on the interior - front seat cover, dash pad and visors all need work. I'll probably be sticking with the Salnt 6 for some time, though I would like to...

    Hello from Atlanta

Thanks - I am a member of the North Georgia Mopar Club. I Have been for a few years but haven't attended many events though. I'm actually in the Decatur area, pretty close to the Galaxy Diner where they used to hold meetings. I'm interested in the Summit Racing meet, I'm not sure I'll be...

    Hello from Atlanta

I joined a couple months back in my search for a 67-68 Valiant. Now that I found the car, I'll introduce myself. This is my fourth A body, many years back I had a 1967 Valiant Signet, a 1968 Dart 270 and a 1968 Valiant Signet. Here's the "new" 1968 Valiant. I think it's a V100 despite the...
