    8 1/4 rear end 2.45 gears!

You can install ANY 8.25" gear ratio offered into ANY 8.25" housing if you use the correct CARRIER and the correct carrier bearings. For example, you can install a 2.71 and up sure-grip with 3.55 gears into an 8.25" housing that was originally built with 2.45 and down gears/carrier. There...

    Green Bearing Question

About 95% of stock 8.75" clutch sure-grips incorporate narrow, 2 piece side gears. The design only yields about 3/8" spline engagement due to the width of the sliding thrust button in the center and length of the axle shaft, both of which is dictated by the adjustable tapered roller wheel...

Lower priced Power lok, sure grip units on Ebay.

20 years ago I sold Yukon 8.75" Power-locks, which I re-worked. The Chinese power-locks on eBay appear to be a copy of the old Yukon offering. 10 years ago, I had my own version made, which I assemble in-house. None of the components are made in China and they look completely different than...

in too deep: trying to go BBP on a 68 barracuda and its going.. poorly.

I don't list 5 x 4.5" bolt pattern axles which require re-drilling the drums on my web-site, but they are in stock. I don't carry 5 x 4.5" bolt pattern conversion front rotors.

in too deep: trying to go BBP on a 68 barracuda and its going.. poorly.

    I also make 5 x 4.5" bolt pattern A-body 8.75" axles that re-use original (re-drilled) 5 x 4" bolt pattern brake drums ($298 pair assembled).

Dana 60 SVL vrs Dana Spicer gear set

I carry almost every supplier of Dana 60 gears including Richmond, SVL, Motive, Hoosier and OEM Spicer. Because the strength difference is negligible, any brand will work for a race car or pickup. I recommend OEM Spicer (USA/Mexico) for a quiet passenger car application. See below: Dana 60...

    Cordoba caliper position swap?

If you have an A-body with the odd-ball "D" shaped hole in the mounting bracket, I'm not aware of any disc brake hose that will fit without modification. If you have an A-body with a standard star shaped hole, any standard hose including the Camaro version will fit.
