    Thanks Guzziemike.Helps me a bit,but i still have the old kick down linkage installed.. I do like the look of that Lokar system though. Still would like to see a pic of the whole thing hooked up with the old linkage system.

    Well-that is probably the problem..I did not know that an adapter was needed.Do you have a pic on what it looks like?And where does one obtain the aforementioned adapter? Thanks

    Any body out there got a pic of how they hooked up the kickdown lever on a 727tf to an Edlebrock carb?? I cant seem to get mine right.The throttle wants to keep sticking open when i hook it up.I think it must need some kind of bolt and spacer assy. to allow it to move freely without binding...

    Cleaned up the wiring a bit,and added a fusible link to the extra primary wire as suggested.And it still works! Thanks again to all who contributed to this thread,and for helping me along the way!!!

    Well sir-0.0 ohms @ 1 FLD connection to alt case,and 3.4 ohms on the other FLD connection to alt case. So something in the alt is fried-yes? If so-why would the alternator still be putting out higher voltage than the battery has? Making progress though. I have an old alternator that i tested...

    Thanks for that link Rob.Very helpful.That would explain the 2 wires going to the output of the Alt.So if i understand this correctly-the big red wire from the relay should be the only wire i need on the output stud of the Alt? Oh and the wiring will get cleaned up(again) when i get these issues...
