The splines fit into the clutch pressure plate when the engine turns over it also turns the front pump to make line pressure.Then you can shift it just like a 727.This was called a poor mans lenco.

The bellhousing for this trans is missing but any bigblock lakewood housing will work. the clutch components disc,plate are not with this trans.Any aftermarket clutch kit will work just fine.This trans was used with a hemi back in the 70s. Thanks
