DusterNut383

29 years old, been working on cars for 18 of those 29. First car was a 1968 Dodge Dart GT Convert. 225 Slant 6. First car restored and driven is my baby, my 1974 Plymouth Duster 225 Slant 6, 10to1 C.R., 390 Holley, Offy 4bbl intake, 6to1 header with an Isky 276 cam, 904 trans with shift kit and valve body, 8 1/4 rear with 3.23 gears. Car will soon become a 383 big block car with an original Direct Connection BB k-frame, 727 trans with B&M shift kit/valve body until I can afford to find or buy a 4 speed kit or maybe even go with a Tremec 5 or 6 speed if I get crazy lol. My Duster is my love, I Bought her when I was 13, rebuilt every nut and bolt on her and started driving her when I finished her 1 month before I got my license. Drove her all through highschool and college. Sadly life caused me to put the car down for a while due to it being slightly unpractical to drive while I started getting my ASE certs. Which oddly got me into VWs for a while... I blame it on being an ASE certified VW mechanic. But I am at least into cool/rare VWs like Corrado's. But currently I am strictly back into Mopars. My Dad and I are finally finishing our 1968 Coronet 440/4spd and I am getting my 68 383 cleaned up and ready to build once I choose a build direction. I have a love for free horse power.. Aka Turbochargers which is something you dont see very often, especially in BB A-bodies. But time (and money) will be the final judge on that.
