It appears to me me that the upper a pillar windshield width is too narrow for the upper window rubber corners to settle into correctly and into the roof and upper a pillar.     How good are the Detroit Mucle Tech gaskets Don? I need to buy one for an 83 Ram, and was hoping they were good. And yes, it is probably best to cut the gasket, normally brittle, and hard rubber. Good luck with your project!
