So I figured all that, and I'm now working on te electric choke the wire isn't long enough to reach the fuse box under the dash. Is there a way to splice it to any of the other hot wires?
Or should I just go buy a longer wire?
So I got most of it figured out what only thing I'm stuck at is the rod that connects to the throttle for the butterfly valve has the hook shaped in the wrong direction so I either see myself having to purchase a new one or having toake my own, any thoughts?
Well I decided to try a long shot and just tighten down all the nuts slowly and evenly and it pulled it together. Threw the carb on now the only problem I have is that the rod that connects to the throttle for the butterfly valve has the hook going in the wrong direction and there is no way to...
So I'm doing the instal right now, was wondering if anyone had a 4 barrel edelbrock on theirs that I could see pictures of? I want to be sure I'm mounting it correctly
So I have my offenhauser intake and I'm installing it on my slant 6 however when I throw it on, the intake port either fits smoothly on the exhaust manifold and not against the engine block, or vice versa. Anyone run into this problem? And how to solve it
Yeah no worries, I have worked on some cars before but this is my first build so it's a whole learning factor. I was told if I get a larger pipe, I could even just straight pipe it, would that work?
So I'm working on upgrading my slant 6, I bought an offy intake and an edelbrock 4 barrel carb before I slap it on, I figured I may need better exhaust headers, does snyone know of good ones for a reasonable price?
I have a 73 /6 I found an offenhauser intake manifold that will do the job, so I'm going with that, and possibly a Holley390. I'll for sure make an exhaust upgrade part of my adjustments. Anything else that I would be recommended?
Hi so currently I have a slant 6 with a one barrel carb, I'm looking to put an edelbrock 4 barrel carb on it, and I as wondering if I needed to upgrade my intake manifold as well, or just buy an adapter plate? And if so which ones work best? Anything to point me in the right direction would be...
Hey thanks I am looking to get an edelbrock 450 cfm just this is my first build so I'm trying to figure out it will work, and what adapter plate I would need
Hey, so I am working on building a 73 plymouth duster, currently it has a slant six 3.7 with a single barrel carb. I am looking to put a 4 barrel carb on it. I know I would have to use an adapter just wondering which one would work
