Has anyone eliminated either the PS pump from their 5.9 Magnum but still used the serpentine belt? Im planning a 5.9 swap into my 49 Plymouth and intend to use a manual rack. Do you just get a shorter belt or do you have to put an idler pulley in place of the pump?
Do you guys think I should be looking at an OBD I setup rather than an OBD II or does it matter? Basically it's going to be a stock motor with a cam upgrade and possibly a performance tune if needed; not sure if one system would work out better than the other.
