There was some slight moisture damage. the cylinders have been cleaned up, new pistons, anything else that showed even the slightest sign of moisture damage was replaced. This is not a high performance rebuild.

It is a large bolt pattern. I bought it specifically for that reason. I converted my dart to large bolt pattern front and rear.

I get the front end set, back out and go around the block. Tires are either extreme toe in, or toe out. Reset everything, around the block, same result. Ideas? Tie rods? Idler (pitman)?

Yeah I tried spacers but doesn't seem to help. I know the engine is offset to the passenger side stock. Mine seems to be the same distance from either fender.

I see a couple of what might be brand names listed but not sure. Favorites and brands that actually work? No vinyl going back on the car.

Is there a right and left specific bracket for mounting the engine to the K member?
When I tried to install my 318 block with 360 heads and tubular headers, the headers sit on top of the steering shaft.
Even the stock headers seem pretty close to the shaft.
Any thoughts??

What do you guys consider the best body filler for the C pillar top to body weld seam??
The last guy to replace the vinyl top used something that never dried. Plus he applied the putty over rust.
Also and insights on replacing the chrome strip clips for the window surrounds.

And yes, no matter what the "real" function of a FREEZE plug...
WELL..... My 72 has been out in the driveway for a couple of single digit temperature days. I moved it into the Garage this last weekend then went out to clean up the driveway. A freeze plug was sitting there. The engine had H2O, no antifreeze in it. Had not progressed to the antifreeze level...
