Lock tight on the threads and torque in a star pattern and those spacers are fine.

Well finally got time to work on the car. Took the intake off and sent it to the machine shop. Right side had to be planed 12 thousands and the left side 8. Used the felpro metal gasket with grey sealer on on both sides. Torque intake bolts to 20 ft lbs. sealer on the intake bolts. No more oil...
Just got the fel pro intake gasket set yesterday. The kit is for the 273 engine. In the kit is 2 metal intake gaskets, 2 cork gaskets and a small tube of black silicone. No blue gaskets. I have stock heads and edlbrock intake. Is this the good gaskets?

Fram filters are no good. See alot of problems with the fram filters, engine noises, rattling filters. Install the proper filters and the problems are gone. Just my 2 cents.
Ordered the intake gaskets today. Felpro gasket for the edlbrock intake with stock 273 heads. Should have them thursday. Still not sure the oil is coming from the intake bolts. I cleaned the engine with engine cleaner and the oil is dead center of the right head by the intake, when i say it is...

Hi, new here. Just got a 1966 valiant signet with a 273 v8. When i checked the car there was a oil leak on the right side of the engine. Cleaned the engine, oil leaking out by a valley in the center of head. Has a edlbrock intake with holly 4 barrel. My question is this the wrong intake for this...
