My factory '67 383S has normal valve cover bolts with studs at both ends of the bottom flange. They are unpainted except for maybe a random dab of turquoise paint here or there, I think the chrome valve covers were installed right after the engines were painted and still wet. Tom at R/T...

FYI, Oct 2nd is the 13 annual Mopar show at Chrysler of Culpeper, runs 9am-2pm. Its just south of Culpeper on Rt 29. Maybe 45 min to hour from Centerville?
