I have a slant with a Offy intake, headers and a 390 cfm Holley 4b. It uses a cable throttle and down shift that allows the carb to be rotated 90 degrees. It's supposed to allow mote even airflow to all cylinders. Cables loop around and approach the carb from the passenger side.
Thanks for all the info everybody. I'm in FL right now and won't get back to this for a couple of months. As to the freeze plug, this is a straight line crack that is lower than the plugs. Also I should have said that the crack is behind the third header tube not the second.
Bought this car in July with no hint of a leak. After putting a few hundred miles on it I see it seeping from a crack drivers side lower front. About at the lower extreme of the water jacket. I have tried two different variations of the nano-particle stop leak with no success. I'm really looking...
OK maybe I missed something but just what work does this avoid by not taking it out the top that would offset all the suspension and frame work needed to take it out the bottom? I have a slant with a cracked block drivers side low front and may be facing this soon. (64 dart gt conv)
