I'm looking at the MaxxECU to run the 8hp70 but in conjunction with a 5.7 Hemi swap since it would run everything.

It's been a few so curious how the trans has been doing and, looking back, is there anything you would do differently?

So, that's a 2 headlight system as in hi/lo in each headlight?

I have always used Mothers Chrome Polish with some steel wool. Made the aluminum slots look sort of machined finish but if you keep going can be brought to a high polish.

Interesting. Is that a 4 headlight separated high and low beam assemblies or a 2 headlight hi/lo combo?

I'm eagerly awaiting your progress! Just looked at JVX's website and couldn't find the LA to 8sp adapters. Could you tell me what's the part number on that flex plate and any other details about it specifically?

You don't have to swap out or mod the stock valance. You can just mount the tips below it.

That's what I plan on doing. Too costly to restore for a nothing special daily driver and repops aren't cheap either.

It appears he has put out a vid addressing some of the critiques and concerns people have about his carb cheater. I think he has some valid points.

Look around where you live RRR. You might be able to find a shop the will make any A/C hose you need locally. Even in hot rod hell Tucson we have a shop that does that and they have been lifesavers at times when swapping in parts that weren't OEM.
