[WANTED] Power steering pump pulley #1826056: WTB

It's a double groove unit, I'd post a pic but can't get computer to interface right now. If you have the piece and it is attached to pump, I'll buy the whole unit as one, pump working or not. Of course I pay shipping plus cost.

Ballpark cost of 3D Power steering pump pulley?

Part # 1826056. Double groove 5 3/4" unit and they were manufactured from '58 to '68. Seems like they don't exist and trying to find the right bore size and right facing characteristics is hitting dead end after dead end. So, how much would a 3D machined one cost? More or less. I'd post a...

High pressure return line power steering, 1960 Valiant. Advice please.

Down the rabbit hole. Been a few months since I last posted, busy with work, travel, illness, marriage, you know the usual stuff. Last time I posted, I had a powerful new stereo system installed so I could listen to Chuck Berry et al and blow away those other cars blasting rap and hip hop...

Dual V-groove 5 3/4 inch power steering pump pulley.

Yes, it is double grooved. As the bore is 1/1000th of an inch too small the thought was to heat it up a little with a torch, then apply.

Dual V-groove 5 3/4 inch power steering pump pulley.

The flanges were damaged when improperly removed (by the shop) and it set up a vibration that promptly ruined the front bearing seal on the new power steering pump (a Corone unit with a new bracket set up). The part number is 1823056. After hours and hours of searching online, pestering...

High pressure return line power steering, 1960 Valiant. Advice please.

Because of this Forum, I located a new pressure return hose from O'Reilley's Auto-parts for a sawbuck. It is installed and fits perfectly. The leak near the brake master cylinder has been repaired. THANK YOU! I could not do it without y'all.

Roasted Dash Wiring Harness: 1960 Valiant 200

Thank you, everyone, for your excellent knowledge and experience. First, I'm going to print out that wiring schematic. Second, I'm going to buy a service manual. As to the root cause of what caused the wires to overheat and melt the insulation, Jerry, the mechanic, believes it to be a thin...

Roasted Dash Wiring Harness: 1960 Valiant 200

OK, thanks! Tried a web search, and didn't find a thing specific to the model. It is believed that at some point, someone wired in a feeder wire of a very small gauge, causing them to overheat. At least that's what I'm told. I'm lucky it didn't catch fire. I am determined to drag this car over...

    Starter motor question

Thank you all again for your exceptional knowledge and experience. I went through the conversion chart for Speedway Motors and spent $400 on a starter. The bolt holes lined up perfectly, but the Bendix would not reach the flywheel. Rick at Show-n-Go Automotive here in El Paso went through his...

    Starter motor question

The old one, probably 1960, has bad brushes. Ordered a new starter that indicated it would fit a '60, but when trying to install it, the bolt holes match up, but the pinion gear does not reach the flywheel. Any ideas?
