Hi there,
i need some assist from the american side ;-). my duster 340 from 1971 was a slant-6 before and there are 9" brake drums in the front with the 14" rally wheels. the german TÜV will not give me a licence without changing the brake drums to 10" X 1 3/4" and 4" bolt center or serial disk...
Thanks Dan - I have to translate it for the german guys :prayer:and i will give an advise that the original text is from a canadian .
so as i understand it it is better to fill in every 2nd or 3rd tankful a 98 or 100 unleaded gas. In germany normally whe have 95.
Hi there,
stupid question from Germany. How many guys here are using lead substitute for the small Block engines ?
Its a controversial issue in germany if it is needed or not. Hope some American guys (and all over the world guys) can give up a statement :D. thanks

Hi Hans,
we must live with the TUV in germany and find some tricks to get the historic number. once you got it then you have less trouble with the TUV because the guys from the TUV doesnt know US Cars very well.
...and i installed the flowmaster super 40 under my car :D.
