Hey! Guys, I apologize if this is the wrong place to post this thread. I’ve been looking for a year now and this listing just popped up. Looks awesome! And not too far away. I would probably pay someone to go and look at it with me as I’m not 100% confident in my abilities to look for trouble areas.
You guys know I’m hungry for my first mopar and keep my eyes open for a good deal. I found one I like but it’s auto. Personally, part of the fun for me is shifting. I keep looking for Demons with a 4-speed but autos keep popping up. We’re 4-speeds not made as much? Are autos more common? I’m not...
Thank you guys for all the advice! What would be the best place to get a loan for a classic car? Any suggestions?
Also, I was really set on getting one with a manual transmission, but someone on the forum has offered a really cool Plymouth Duster with an automatic transmission with a B&M...
Thank you! That would be really cool. I need all the help I can get.
I never had anyone in my life that knew anything about cars. My family moved around a lot and I never had a stable enough home to buy a project and teach myself. Now that I'm 28 and living at an appartment (where I can rent a...
Hey guys! I post every now and then on this forum, thinking this is the time I’m going to get my Mopar. However, there is always financial difficulties. I’m finally at an income where I think I could pull the plug. I’m 28 years old and have been waiting for this since I was 10 haha. The...
Hey guys!
So, I always find awesome and interesting deals on trovit. Now, some of the deals seem... let's just say too good to be true. Does anyone here trust trovit? Done any purchasing from the site?
Check out this 440 Roadrunner: 1971 Plymouth Road Runner
It just seems too good to be true...
Thank you guys! (Sorry for the late reply, been having family health issues).
It looks like what I need to do is just buy the car I truly want. I know the first thing I'll want to do when I get a Roadrunner with a 340 automatic is to make it a 440 manual. All of these answers helped me out...
Hey guys,
I hardly know anything about engines and most likely won't be doing any engine builds or engine swaps for 1. not having enough room 2. and no time.
So, one day I'll be buying a Plymouth Barracuda or Roadrunner and dream about it every day.
My question is, what's the difference...
Living in Austin Tx. you would think I would see many of these but the honest truth is I haven't had any luck and I've been looking for a while. Or, at least not in my price range. $15,000 is pretty much my limit (which I know isn't a ton) and that will take a huge toll on me but I believe the...
I certainly had alarms going off when he said that. He also said, "It has very little rust. Just in one spot." Obviously that was not the case. Also, I got the VIN and the original engine is a 318. Pretty sure the 318 is still in it and that the previous owner put the 340 stickers on it.
