I used the stock cast iron manifolds on my "68" 426 Hemi in my 67 Formula S Cuda. Did the engine conversion in the early 1980's and so far every thing is still working fine. The only downside is they are pretty heavy.
When I installed a 426 Hemi in my Cuda I had to add 1.5" spacers between the K member and the body mounts. It raised the body enough to make the Carbon Carbon fiber shield fit as well as give hood clearance for the Carbs
