The car is a 71 duster, everything measured up properly before I started work on the car. I've got frame rails and inner fenders that I'm getting ready to replace, as the ones in the car have literally been cut off at the firewall area and another clip welded on to them.

I'm about to start cutting the front frame/inner fender area apart on the ye duster something doesn't seem right,the cowl to inner fender brackets have a gap between the brackets and the cowl. I want to see if anyone has any pictures / measurements if the bracket is supposed to have a gap or is...
