    Perhaps my question is out of the scope of this thread but: how does one determine the most duration possible before reversion occurs? I'm suspecting there is some relation to LSA, and or how fast the cam can close the intake valve.

    318willrun. I have a 230/230 .489 SFT on a 108 lsa from Or. if you have a small block project your going to abuse your welcome to it. As far as BB i only have cores. Some 727 parts if your in a jam. The site should/could/is for those helping each other out IMHO.

    My local machinist is very similar, in as much that he can give you performances outputs just "looking at your combination..." Sad really... I'm surprised that you haven't been offered some "free performance parts" from the "take offs" of all the experts... Surely someone has a decent...

    If the crankshaft pilot was modified in a lathe, there is not much room for runout error. Perhaps he was just being smug.

    The torque curve of the 371" combination is what was so intriguing to me. The 383 build is extremely well thought out, obviously. Perhaps the numbers make a case for not "over-camming" a short stroke build. It would be interesting to compare a similarly built 383 without the cylinder bore...

    Ramm, I believe it was you who built a 360 ci with EQ heads some years ago that was making 500 HP. Do you have a link to compare the dyno results between the two engines?

    It be hard to believe that the idle bypass or lack there of wasn't adding to the excessive emissions in the vehicle. Though adding the high flow "cats" is an interesting concept.

    Agreed. Its a disappointment that there is no 12:1 Icon pistons for the Magnum head combustion chamber, let alone in 3.910 bore. I have a SFT that 251/251 .570 on a 105lsa begging for a 318 and the EQ heads...
