why are you installing an x pipe?

I would rather a nice original part instead of a perfect reproduction, but i think most guys would rather remove the old part and replace with a new one. It doesn't bother me at all to use new parts if i don't have originals. i do like new things...but i like them better when they get old.

no measurements but the throttle bracket is about 1 1/2" higher for a 4 barrel intake

40 pounds isn't anything unless it is a dedicated race car and increased flow can hurt lo rpm performance on some mild builds. Some guys think the aluminum pieces look awful on a classic car.

Shovelled well into darkness last night. Did it all again at this morning and it's still coming down so i will have to shovel everything again this evening! So feelin' pretty cheerful and "jokey"!

You can't find anyone who doesn't worship aluminum heads nowadays...but with all this aluminum head chatter i am glad i had my X heads rebuilt and ported!

sorry guys..these parts are packed away and hard to get at ps 2863900 10 67 ? date difficult to read. ds 2899002 10 68. The tubes in the rad do look a bigger than 1/2"
