    65 b'cuda windshield install--help!

Dear all: My 65 barracuda windshield and rear window has been replaced and PARTIALLY secured (new Precision rubber surrounds). The specialty help I had is unavailable. I know there is something further I need to insert to complete the installation to be road safe. I don't know what to call the...

Actually--I exaggerated (it was more like 1300 mi). It only seemed like 2000 miles, after stopping every 20 minutes for gas! (day one: Colville to K Falls; day two: K Falls to So Cal). Drove mostly 60-65 mph. So, I envy your mileage. Thanks for weighing in. jjc

mid 80's 318 mpg economy numbers...

A bit off topic, but I could use some anecdotes, or actual data for that matter. Just acquired and drove 2000 miles in two day a 65 Barracuda, 273 2 bbl. It has the automatic transmission (nifty console shift). The trip was problem-free, but the car only managed 11miles/gallon. The car is a...

273ci--a keeper in my 64 Dart GT 4-speed?

Each of these is a much-appreciated, substantive, reply (and quickly made!); hearty thanks, one and all for the time invested. I will mull and have more to report once I have had a closer look at the mill. More thoughts, of course, are welcome. Best, Jacobi

273ci--a keeper in my 64 Dart GT 4-speed?

Dear all: I have acquired a 64 Dart (GT) factory 4 speed / 273 ci motor. It is sufficiently rare that my instinct is to not up-size the motor to, e. g., a 318 or 340, but rather keep it as the factory outfitted it. It would probably used as a daily driver, so fuel efficiency is an issue too...
