For the past 35 years I have stored my Dart in an unheated garage. Stabilized the fuel, disconnected the battery, attached a trickle charger and left till spring. Never a problem starting once the fuel hits the carb after several pumps.

180 or 190 depends on which site you google. Doesn't matter to me. Just wanted to know what the hp increase would be with the mods.

I do feel the difference, and the exhaust sound is awesome. Takes me back to the sixties.

Okay thanks, the performance now seems like a lot more than 10hp. I will consider further modifications in the future.

It was a factory 2bbl rated at 190hp/4400, 260ft-lb/2000

How much more horsepower do you think is created when a stock 273 is changed to a Edelbrock LD4B manifold and a 500cfm carb. Hedman headers and dual SS exhaust?

Last year I did a front disc brake conversion on my 68 Dart using a SSB-153 kit from Summit. You can use either small bolt or large bolt depending on your rims and I stayed SB with my 14" SS cragars to be the same as the rear. The kit had everything that was required to do the conversion...

Last year I did a front brake disc conversion using a kit from Summit, SSB-153. Can be small or large bolt pattern. The kit had everything that was required to do the conversion including the master cylinder. It also works with my 14" SS cragers. Was fairly straight forward and easy to install.

This site has been very helpful to me in the rebuild of my car with the info that I was able to find.
