Thanks for the reply but my car is a four speed from the factory, I have it apart now and bought a 10 inch slant six speced out for a truck. Thats only 1/2 inch less than a 340 without having to change the bell housing.

I am converting my 1965 273 to the truck slant six 10 inch clutch and since the original 9 1/2 only used three flywheel bolts I need three more now. These are the ones turned by a 1/2 wrench.

It's hard to find them in decent condition used. The pot metal didn't hold up well on these benzels. If you get desperate www.laysons.com has repos made with higher quality metal but are pricey..$525.00 for the pair.
are you aware of the www.kelseytires.com bluestreak repos? They are unfortuantly a little pricey ($350 each!) but might be better than trying to modify a tire to look like them. One drawback is that they are bia-ply tires, not radials.
I seem to remember seeing them on a 65 or 66 Dart with the hi-po motor. Re. Kelsey repos, would love to have them but wish they were 350.00 for a pair instead!
