I'm thinking you're going to need to cut the gusset off of the frame rails that the rubber bumper on the factory lower control arms bumped into. It will be in the way of your new coilovers.
That is the exact thing I used on the fender for my 65 Barracuda. It took all of 10 minutes to get the outside of it stripped from 3 paint jobs down to bare metal. You need a good sealing dust mask, cause it flat throws it off!
If nobody throws an Eddy Performer at you within your time frame, I've got an Edelbrock DP4B holdin up some dust. I'll trade it to ya for that LD340TA (W2) intake you got out in the shed!

Wow....what a difference! It cleaned up nicely. Does the AC keep up with cooling the whole thing, or will you have to make a partition of some sort? I'd like to find a 5.2 or 5.9 Maxi van of the same-ish vintage, but people want stupid money for them around here. :realcrazy:
