i just went through the ball joint thing, it's better to leave the upper arms in to take out the upper ball joints, that is if you don't want to bring them to a machine shop.

I'm doing a suspension upgrade on my 73 duster and I'm stuck at the lower control arm torsion bar anchor. everything else came out like butter except this. so here is what I've done. loosened the lower control arm and cut through the old torsion bar with a saw, I have no room to do the vice...
