I have entire 7 1/4 rear you can have for free out of 72 duster. 99.9% sure it’s 2.94

You can function test it with air, it’s all spelled out in that Tom hand book which is a great reference. I used it to do mine and it was very helpful.

Check for cracked flex plate..seen that before, or dust cover hitting flex plate bolts

Also, i read somewhere it would hit the hood torsion bars so I removed them. But it ended up clearing them fine.

I had one in a 65 barracuda. If you use the factory air cleaner it will hit structural supports of the hood. At least on a 65 it did.

Looks to me like your coil is wired into your wiper bal resistor which should be its own thing. Should be a second bal resistor for just ignition.

Copy that, probably bring both sets to machine shop to verify all is well. Thanks again

Can any of you guys tell what valve springs these might be? Comp 901-16? They came out of a 360 that had a factory cam with 974 heads that had these different looking retainers. I would like to use them with a 340 build running a melling Spd-22. I also have access to a set of Hughes 1110p...
