I have pretty much same set up. Comp 268 XE, edelbrock 650 AVS Thunder.edelbrock airgap manifold, mopar electronic ignition. Brian at IMM set the initial at 10 degrees and 33 total. This engine has 9.58 compression.

Thanks Again Brian! IMM Goes the Extra Mile

I was having a hard time to get the pictures in the post, but they there now. The eddy magnum heads were OOTB. Brian checked them over. Had I not purchased these a few years ago I would have bought a set off Brians heads with his work done to them. It will take me a few weeks but I will...

Thanks Again Brian! IMM Goes the Extra Mile

Hi Guys, I wanted to post a thank you to Brian and Fred at IMM. Everyone who has spoke highly of Brian, and the stand up operation he runs, couldn't be truer! I contacted Brian and asked if he would be willing to assemble a 360 Magnum with the machine work already done using my parts. He...

Mopar Shop in Sacramento, Ca ?

Thanks for the recommendations! I wish I would have asked you guys this question before I had my machine work done. But overall I think my guy has done a good job. I will definitely look up these recommended next time. I'm still undecided about assembling my engine. I really would like to do it...

    Piston recommendations

Hind sight being 20/20 it would have been better to buy the 107's, like crackedback suggested, and then pay the money for metal gaskets and dial my compression to what I wanted.

    Piston recommendations

I've been assembling parts for my 99' magnum engine. Their isn't much of a selection of pistons to choose from. I was trying to have about 10.0 for compression. I have eddy heads. I bought KB 323 hypers. They have a elevated quench pad, and a 18 cc dish. I wanted to go with the 107's but that...

Mopar Shop in Sacramento, Ca ?

Lucky 13, I will post some pictures. I haven't posted pictures before so I'll have to learn how. The 48 was completely restored with the original 6 cylinder before I took it back apart. Trying to make the car more drivable and fun!

Mopar Shop in Sacramento, Ca ?

Thanks guys, I'm thinking about having someone assemble and dyno my engine for me. My original plan was to assemble myself but I realize the advantage to dyno tuning and having an experienced engine builder. Then again I don't know if a shop would be willing to assemble an engine with someone...

    Denso Starter Heat Soak?

Thanks for the advice! Slantsixdan what vehicles have the heat shields on them? You got me thinking about chinese starters, but I think mine is made in USA. A Tuff stuff one from Summit? The heat wrap kit from Summit looks like it would help too.

    Replace Distributor Drive Shaft ?

Thanks StrokerScamp, The block was not hot tanked so the bushing I think is fine. I was told that the process was not allowed in California anymore? So the block was put in a big "dishwasher" type machine. I will be running a stock pump but thought of using the pressure relief spring kit for...
