So 2 valve notches as your photo shows = 4 barrell engine and 4 valve notches is a 2 barrell engine. Is that correct.

Do you have a photo of the domed pistons for a commando engine? I can put a spark plug and look. Attached is photo of complete engine. Did not receive the distributor.

I put that in the original post. But how do I tell if it was a commando engine and the actual year. I was guessing since the heads were 64-65 it must be a block used in 64-65 and not in 66.
