In the old days when they had a rear pump we'd just push 'em a little bit, and if it was the front pump that was bad the car would drive away from the push car. If it wouldn't drive away then we knew the tranny had gone South.....

What is the procedure to adjust the torsion bars properly? My son rebuilt my front end for me and in doing so, backed off the torsion adjustments. He put the car back together, but it seems to be awful low in the front. I need a couple inches more height, but I remember back in early 60's...

General rule of thumb is 30-35 and 55-60 mph is tires if you feel it in the steering wheel.
