[FOR SALE] 1962 Dodge Lancer GT

We're moving, and I can't take my project car with us. The 62 Lancer GT is one of the rarer mopar models. I've started this one, but can't finish it. The engine was rebuilt just before I got it. The body is straight with only a little bit of tinworm on the rocker panels. If you want a car that...

Now for something a little bit different...

No, the deck lid is clean. Haven't found any bondo anywhere on it, although I do have to deal with some tinworm in the rocker panels and a bit in the trunk.

Now for something a little bit different...

Hi, all. I'm in central Utah and have undertaken a car project that no one else seems to find worth the bother. I picked up a 62 Dodge Lancer GT that someone else had started. He'd looked at the interior, noticed that the seats and door panels were torn up, so he threw them away. Yeah, an...

    New Lancer GT owner

Part number on the block is 2463230-2, which, according to all the references I can find, indicates 170. Wouldn't mind finding that it's a 225, but there's nothing to support that wish.

Have everything sanded, trim removed, dents filled, etc., when you bring it in. Bring your own paint if you have special desires...

    New Lancer GT owner

Hi. I've just purchased what turned out to be a 1962 Lancer GT. I bought it as a 170, based on the 170 emblem on the trunk, but discovered from the VIN and the fact that it's a 2-door hardtop, that it is actually a GT. It's in primer and needs a complete interior, but the engine has been...

    Yet another new guy

I just bought a 62 Dodge Lancer 170. It promises to be a fun, yet challenging restoration project. The body is straight and solid except for a wee bit of tinworm on the rocker panels. Floors are solid, thank goodness. The straight six has been rebuilt, so that's one thing I won't need to mess...
