    I did have the record in that weight class for several years,so it wasnt 18 years in a row.Havent gotten car back together since crash but I will and will try to get that record back,but Marks car is a top notch high tech work of art.

    I have gotten a 1.49 60 ft with a auto NA.I run 28 timeing,anything higher and car slows down.Got a 1.44 60 ft with a 80 shot and timeing at 26.

    I get,why dont you put a V8 in it instead of that Slant six?I tell them I like running 11s with the six.

    I go tru the traps around 6500.4.56 gears 28 tires shift at 6000.11.42 @ 116mph.All motor Slant six.

    I run a 600 on my full on race car.750 way to big on any slant.

    Put foam padding around roll bar till you go 11.49,just to get tech off your back.

    I learned something new.My dist is 1 pickup with no advance.I use a msd controller in the car,dail it back for starting and shutting car off.I dial it to 28 for my runs na and 26 with Nos.Sure makes timeing changes easy.

    weight reduction ideas.

    I use felt for carpeting and also just glue it on the inside door edges after removeing door panels,quarter panels also.Easy,cheap,and simple to go back to stock.Over 30lbs.
