I've been told that the Melling high volume oil pumps were resulting in very high oil pressure numbers. You might want to check this out. Hope this helps.
How big are the exhaust ports on your heads? You might have to run the bigger tube 1 7/8" style headers. The 1 5/8" step headers could restrict the larger exahaust ports on some heads like the Indy modified Edelbrocks. Good luck
Hi Fellas. I'm running a 340 stroker with an 833 in my 72 Demon. I think that I'm experiencing not enough clutch release. I'm using a Lakewood Scatter shield with a McCleod dual disc clutch and Borg n Beck 3 finger long style pressure plate. I've already corrected the Z-Bar bracket to align the...

Hello, I have heard from some very knowlegeable Mopar people that the Melling pumps are the problem. Check with Herb McCandless. He was the one that brought this to my attention. Good Luck.
Hello, Wix makes a filter that's about 1/2" shorter than their 51068 filter. The part # is 51521. I'm using this one on my Demon due to my custom headers being very close to the filter. I hope this helps you, Joe Arceri.
