63 Dodge Dart, now let me see;)

I'm just looking at your project for the first time. I've had issues with accessing the site for an extended period! I've fitted a Vitage air unit to my Aussie 1967 Dodge ute. They share the same basic design as your but in reverse. Some of what I did maybe of use to you as I had similar issues...

    Aussie VC 67 Dodge ute

I'm planning on cutting the support panel to fit a radiator the extends to the frame rails. A mate has a V8 S series with an HQ Holden (aussie GM) radiator, works well on a hot/stroked 318!

After more than a year without posting I’m back to it! Lots of non car work in the last year on top of not feeling like working on the Dodge. The break has given me a new enthusiasm for the project so maybe some good for having the rest. My current project is a radiator cover that extends from...

    Hood hinges 65 barracuda

How long have you had the struts this way up Tim? All supplier information I have read state they should be the other way up to maintain the lubrication to the seals. They reportedly will lose pressure quicker when the main body is not at the highest position. I have my struts exposed as the...

    Hood hinges 65 barracuda

This is what I did for the original hood as a test. Ended up shaping the mounts to look better. It's since been replaced with a custom fibreglass hood where the struts have covered mounts. These struts are 530mm long 350n pressure if I remember correctly, it's been over 10 years!

Sunvisors and headliner: 1960 Valiant 200

I used later model Ford Falcon sun visors for mine. This is the start of a hard headlining I made for mine. I slightly moved the mounting point forward to have some metal to mount to.

65 Dart Wagon Conversion to a Sedan Delivery

Scott's dart, not wanting to crash Dartmans post, there are many seat heaters on ebay. Fitted one for a mate 11 years ago. Still works fine, as good as some expensive units I've bought! Of late I've been fitting ones with 5 or 6 heat settings, much better than the hot or even hotter settings on...

I'm 3D Printing a set of Dash Panels with Gauges

I'm enjoying watching your progress. I haven't looked at 3d printing as yet, but really should! I made my custom dash board by modifying a factory fascia, then making silicone moulds and casting it out of fibreglass with vinyl ester resin for it's heat stability. It took 10 months to make and...

Thanks for the post, between this page and my Facebook build page I get very little feedback. At times it feels like no one is following, then on other groups if it's not how Chrysler did it, look out if you try something new!!

I know what you mean. Thinking of stopping posting even though there are those who like what I post and that it's a "how to" with everything. I can't handle pointless criticism, critique is a different thing! As is just asking a pointed question, but others it's just picking at you. Every car...

I like to do my projects as how to's to encourage other to have a go! A lot of things aren't that hard once you're shown how. Getting a lot of negative comments about this cover on FaceBook!!

Amongst all the other jobs I have on at the moment I’m testing the idea of a late model style engine cover on the LA small block. This is just a basic mock up and there’s a lot of finishing to be done. Including “Dodge” embossed down both rocker cover sections. I have a couple of options to test...

#3 test door panel.....it will be covered in a leather match vinyl that is close to an exact match to the leather for the seats. The inserts for both the doors and seats will be a matching colour of Alcantara.
