My car is a v8 car originally a 3spd swapped for a 71 4spd. The ball is kinda worn. So I want to get a replacement part just want to make sure that the extra part of the bracket doesn't have an important use.
Took a look at that and looked up the part number the two bolt hoes and the ball locations are the same, though I haven't seen any with the extra part to the right. Is it for the return spring?
I have a 74 Dart Sport 360 and have been doing a lot of work, planning on rebuilding the clutch pedal linkage it's a bit screwed up. The plate I have attached to my bellhousing is the same as this picture, is this correct for an a body? I can't find anything online except for this one photo, non...

Solid core motor 74 360 block and crank. Has pitting in cylinders will need a bore job. Otherwise a is good to go. Has all main caps.
