I just received my trunk deck lid and it is a very nice pice,fron U.S. bODY. I am also pleased with my front end from W.S Racing Fiberglass,it is a not as heavy as they said it would be, I stressed race weight and that is what I got.

I am also planning a 400 stroker build and like opinions on how much HP a factory block can handle? I plan on to use hard block or main gridle, The motor would be a race only aluminum rod motor.

Does anyone sell a full tube chassis kit for a 1965 Dodge Cornet ? Any idea if chassis from another car would fit? I'm sure there is but have no idea what they are. Any ideas? also want it made out of 4130, For a drag car!

It measures 52" wide, it is 12"level then angles up about 1". Do these realy do any good? The car runs a little over 130 MPH now & hope to run faster.

I just got a race weight glass deck lid and going to put me wing on it.The wing goes past the bumper no more than 1".How much pressure is put on the lid? Does it need alot of bracing? This is on a 72 Duster. thanks

I just got a deck lid fron U.S.BODY and it is a very nice pice, but they shipped it in a full size hood box and shipping was $20 more than they told me it would be.I could put 2 duster deck lids in the box they used.

They are direct from Callies, they aren't perfect each one has something making it a ebay crank. one had a .010, one had a .020 under on I beleave rod journals.One is .002 under where the oil seal goes and one was .002 thick.One had a divit some where on it, but was sold before I found out...

I talked to a machinist last week and was told that he kept records for 2 years, and of the china stuff Scat was the best. American made is better than off shore, but most Scat products are ok.

I think most people will agree the speed is at the second half of the track.1/8 + second half of track = 1 drag race I do have a friend that races a BBC that likes 1/8 mile racing because his motors blow up after a few 1/4 mile races. I grew up 11 miles from a 1/4 mile track didn't make sence...

You must be OFF your meds, you are making NO since, except for being easer on car. If they changed the Daytona 500 to a 250 mile race more cars could finish. But it wouldn't be the same.

A drag race is 1/4 mile NOT 1/8 mile that is why I have never been to Lakeland.
