    TTI vs Dougs

It took TTI 7 weeks to get my headers out to me after ordering. I was pretty disappointed in that. On the plus side, they dropped in on my 440 70 GTX with only having to pull the motor mount bolts (I’m swapping out the heads to Trick Flow 240’s so the heads were off of the block). Bolted on the...

    Aluminum Heads

im bolting a set of 240’s on my 440 now. The short block is staying the same, just changing the heads, intake (Edelbrock Performer RPM) and TTI headers vs the factory exhaust manifolds and comp cams roller rockers. It’s not going to be a race car but plan on it being a fun street car. When I...

    Big Block Duster

I have a 70 duster with a 440 in it. It is fairly tame, .508 cam, good cast heads, wiend intake, 750 edelbrock carb, 1 inch spacer, 10:1 compression, TTI headers, 2 1/2 exhaust, 727, no stall, 275/60 15 tires, discs up front, drums in the rear, no power brakes, no power steering, .920 t-bars...

    Need hood for a 71 72 duster/valiant hood

I need a hood in good shape from a duster or valiant. The '71 and '72 hoods had the holes pre drilled for the scoops in the bracing. I have a 70 440 duster that I want to mount my scoops on. Thanks for your help. Call me if you have anything. 330-241-2086 Chad

Performance Hood Treatment for a 72 Duster 340 question.

The big 340 wedge decal is for a '71, the '72 had the strobed stripe and dual scoops or nothing at all. The large 340 wedge decal was for '71 only. I just sold my numbers matching '72 340 duster in july. I had it since '80 and am now working on a 70 duster with a 440 in it and I liked the 72...

    Bucket Seats????

I would think any A body should fit. You will have to reinforce the inner holes with a plate of metal if your car did not come with bucket seats. The outer holes are the same for a bench or buckets as the guys building the cars along the assembly line did not know if it was a bench or bucket...

    340 #'s

Check on the driver side of the block kind of towards the rear. It should have a series of numbers and the last set of numbers should say 340, if not, I am afraid that you got a 318. You cannot bore a 318 out far enough to make a 340 and still have a depndable running motor in warm conditions...
