I have the same set of pistons. They are rated at 12.5:1 with a closed chamber head and 11.8:1 with an open. The tops can not be machined to reduce the compression....My solution Edelbrock heads, the Aluminum allows for more compression before detination becomes an issue. That number is for a 30...
