Hi All and thanks for the responses to my previous post about the whine. My 904 now has a whine in gear sitting at a light. Is this a terminal pump:(? I heard somewhere there is a service bulletin for this kind of noise....am I dreaming?

This weekend my Duster developed a slight gear whine when accelerating from a stop. Can hear till about 15mph. Fluid is clean and full. Does not make any noise when idling in gear only on acceleration. Any ideas? ANy need for concern? Thanks

Hey first posting. My 69' 340 sat all winter and now has a lifter tick for the first 5 minutes of idling, also runs a little rough for those first few minutes. I drove it for 20 min. and it was fine. Couple days later same thing. I'm guessing I have a bleed-down issue. Short of replacing lifters...
