    1974 Dodge Dart Sport rebuild

You mentioned cloth electrical tape. I've seen it at either Lowe's or Home Depot. My local Lowe's didn't have it. I did find it at a small town mom & pop hardware store. Most electrical supply houses will have it, and I bet you could get it off Amazon.

63 Dodge Dart, now let me see;)

It may just be that efficient. You oxidize (burn) hydrocarbon fuel which releases heat. The expansion medium (air initially) absorbs that heat and tries to expand, creating pressure. As the oxidizing process progresses, the expansion medium begins to populate with carbon monoxide, then carbon...

Any battery charger experts out there?

I am not familiar with your particular charger, and previous comments may be correct and what I'm about to say may be wrong for your particular charger, but... Lead acid batteries use plates with lead on one side and lead oxide on the other. Each cell sees one plate of lead and a second of...

Hall effect sensors require a pull-up resistor on the signal wire. The transistor in the Cam sensor either grounds the signal wire or it doesn't. If you don't use a pull-up resistor, you won't be able to see if it's grounding or not.

1973 Plymouth Duster repair and rebuild

Yes, it is assumed you will never max out all fuses on a single feed line. It's like a 100 amp service box for the garage. You may have a total of 160 amps worth of breakers and still be legal.

I did a 7-part build of a small engine ignition timing controller for "Nuts and Volts Magazine" a few short years ago. The controller had a touch screen. Here is the "Gauges" screen.

I see you have 2 intakes with no EGR port in the plenum floor (older) and 2 with the EGR ports. Since you plugged the ports in the heads under the exhaust ports, I'd opt for an older non-EGR intake for your application.

What would you put a stroker in?

I have a "stroker" in my '95 Grand Cherokee; it's a 4.0 block with a 258 crank. It displaces 4.6 liters now (280 CID up from the stock 4.0's 242). Throttle response is way better than the 5.2 option!

    My Luck

I have been asked numerous times what caused the carnage. My reply is that it will cost extra for me to do the forensics. So far, it's just been, "let's find another engine". I really don't know what could have caused this. I really don't care either. Just pay me to fix it.

    My Luck

No, actually, it just needs a new engine. The block is cracked, cylinder head mangled, and more carnage. Calling around to find a replacement and the lowest price so far has been $2700 for a 160k mile version.
