The tensioners seem to have mixed reviews over the years but there is enough smoke around them to make you think twice. I have seen some well respected small block builders using them.

Jesel keyway lifters are a nice choice but most are using link bar lifters

Not offset rockers, offset roller lifters in a 59 degree block, some use to be .210 then .180 offset. They seem to work in a 48 degree block but not as durable in a 59 degree

Nice parts, price is inline for that type of build. I've never heard great things about the offset lifter in a 59 degree block

700 hp on a well done r3 based shortblock with suitable compression and rotating assembly your looking at basically w8s, w9s, ported brodix Mc, indy 245s, with a appropriate cam. Will not be budget based.

John you say your duster is not a go fast combo, does it have factory front frame rails? Inner fenders? Firewall, backhalf car sounds fast to me
