Thanks for the info the motor has been built up some. I'm just not sure how high I can safely rev up the motor. I'm thinking with the 4.30 gears I would be in the 6500 range on the 1/4 at the end. Is that to many rpm's for a balanced 440.

I recently foung a set of 4.30 center section for sale with a suregrip. My car Has a 440 with eddy heads balanced looking to top out somewhere near 6000 rpm. It has 28" tall mickey thompson drag radials with 3.55 gears. I'm curious if this would be to much gear and what others experiences have...

Just pulled my rockers off to replace a bent pushrod in my 440. Now I'm putting it back together and I'm not sure if the oiling holes in the rocker shafts face up or down. I didn't look when I pulled it apart.

I bought a set of comp engineering 90/10 adjustables but I'm not sure what the stroke would be they might be longer than stock but I'm not sure. I figure they will help with weight transfer.

I'm running a 440 with 906 heads roller rockers .507/.510 comp cam. It has a 3.55 suregrip 8 3/4 rear and goes through the traps at 109 mph. Just seems to spin baddly for the first 60ft.
