Thanks everyone!
I knew when I posted this I was going to get this sort of response based on the ask.
It's the internet and well lets be honest, Mopar people are well... Mopar people (take that with a grain of salt too.)
You start talking 318's and it becomes the skinny underclassmen HS game...
Great points and I agree.
It just needs to stay/be a nice driver / family legacy car with some more punch when needed.
It a really nice stock survivor convertible that needs some upgrades in the powerplant and drivability front.
Sure a 318 might not be the way to go, but it is what it is...
Well it's finally happening.
Pulled my 1968 Stock 318 (Cracked passenger side head) out of the barracuda.
Scheduled to go to the machine shop early Sept. and to begin a parts list.
Looking for some parts suggestions for a bit more than mild street build.
Not apposed to an aftermarket...
That is great. Thank you.
What year and style valiant glass are you looking for?
I have some friends that might be able to help and/or source for you as well.
Hi there, its been a minute.
Would you be willing to work with a local windshield/auto glass company in Pueblo with me?
I could have them wrap, box and ship the windows my way if you are willing.
I am not finding anyone in the area or have any trips planned to CO.
Thanks you!
Dang, I am not but let see about a way to get shipping going if its not to much of a pain in and a for you.
Or if a friend could snag them that lives in CO.
Thanks so much for your reply.
Do you know what they came out of just for good measure?
Looking for a stock or aftermarket drivers side door glass that is in great shape.
Preferably clear and non scratched if possible.
Busted my a couple weeks back, sigh.
Oh nice, Thanks.
I did not think about the 8.25 swap. My Dart pictured above has that already so maybe just a trade/swap is in order.
I have an 8.75 on hand and in the works for the Dart.
Thanks for the all the info.
