71 Duster ? power steering box ID

Hello all, it's been a while! When we put together the 71 Duster for my ex-wife, we swapped the manual steering for a power setup from another A body.. A friend orchestrated the trade, so I don't know exactly what year & model the PS setup came out of. Life happens; the car now has a new...

1966 Valiant Signet Park/Signal lamp problem

On the risk of sounding stupid, here goes: my friend said she has no right turn signal. I found the front bulb not to be working. The problem is, I can not get another bulb to go into the socket, turn & lock into place. I now have the parklamp housing off the car, & clamped in my vise-still...

    Carlisle 2013 was great

We drove the Duster down from northern Ma. This was it's first long trip. Everything was perfect: oil stayed up, temp stayed down. We met some nice people, & had a great time. I took a ride out in the country early one morning & snapped some pics.

    Driving to Carlisle 2013

First off, I want to thank everyone for all the help in my past posts. Now it's time to take Deb's Duster for it's first "long" run. We have decided to drive to Chryslers at Carlisle 2013 from Ma. Car has approximately 300 miles since the mods were completed. So far no problems, but it has never...

    The Al Bundy Thread

Al searches for used Dodge parts, hits all the automated phone questions; finally: "...If your Dodge has between 7 & 8 hundred thousand miles, press 7" he presses 7 "Hello Mr. Bundy!" Great episode

How has Chryslers at Carlisle been recently?

Have not been to Chryslers at Carlisle since 2010. My friends went to All Ford at Carlisle this year, & were extremely disappointed. They all tell me the show has lost a large amount of the older car participants, & was largely new model Fords. My friends all own 50's/60's era Fords, & say that...

    Faulty Fuel Guage Diagnosis?

Good morning, Fuel guage not working on Deb's Duster. Shop manual shows how to diagnose with Mopar test tool/ My question is how to test guage & sending unit with regular tools to determine where the problem lies. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Dave

Putting a small block where a six banger once lived

Used the schumaker mounts on Debbie's '71 Duster (just back on the road-see my post today): so far, so good!

    Dusters and Demons

    Debbie's '71 Duster: as purchased, & today. Slant six/3 speed has made way for a 360 crate/Tremec 5 speed, 8/34 rear.

Debbie's Duster finally on the road!

Just a few finishing touches to go. Hopefully we're driving it to Adirondack Nationals in Lake George. Crate 360/Tremec seems to be OK;should be a fun trip (even if I am riding shotgun!)

    Mouse prevention

Hello everyone, Well,it's that time of year again (at least for us unlucky northerners): time to store our favorite rides for another long winter. I just scored some nice storage in a brick garage on an estate not far from my home. I'll move 2 into it, & have my 2 car garage to work one another...

    What was your first car?

1970 Pontiac Tempest T-37 2 door hardtop, 6 cyl. (OHV), three on the tree. Beat the heck out of it-it took it like a trooper. bought her in 1974 for $950.00, sold in 1977 for $700.00. The only problem: I broke so many clutch cross shafts (z-bar), that I couldn't find any more (new or junkyard)...
