Does anyone like 4 door A body mopes?

And it could be purchased with a 360 too. My neighbored did in 75. He towed a 20 ft camper with it. He drove it for 20 years with good maintenance practices. No mods.

Does anyone like 4 door A body mopes?

1975 Dart Custom 318/auto/ac/ps/pdb/stereo/bench. 30K miles. I bought it two years ago for 3k, just like you would have any good condition five-year-old 30k mile car back in 1980 to get around town. It's going to get used up over the next 20 years. That's just the way it is with cheap family...

The man wants MORE caster. How about this idea?

It also makes the car easy for the wind to blow around on the highway.

When I run up on a Mopar that won't lineup I just alter the cam stays. Hammer it flat and weld a new one over it. Then open up the slot. Plenty of potential for any numbers you want.

    Rookie Mistake...

Of all the cars I've had my 69 GTS was the closest to being a perfect transportation device. And yes, my 1970 440 six-pack Super Bee was faster. But it wasn't near the suburban cruiser the GTS was. And all those monster big blocks? Very few of them were immune from the GTS if they didn't have a...

    Advice on buying junkyard engines?

I would rather buy a known good motor with no warranty from a running vehicle or buy the whole vehicle than buy a used motor with a warranty that I can't test run and pressure test the cooling system. Sometimes you have to buy the whole buffalo to get a good motor. In this area $1000 gets a beat...

Your favorite rear end/final drive ratio and why?

My tired but sound 78 Mercury Grand Marquis 400 gutless wonder gets 20 at 70. Probably a 2.80 or so rear? Filled it today at $2.50. Smooth quiet car. But slooow.

Your favorite rear end/final drive ratio and why?

Yep, the one ton 360 with 4.88 and 245/75-16 tires is turning 3600 rpm at 55. But it's worth it to tow the 14000-pound backhoe around the county. It's under all axle and 26000 restrictions. But way over what Dodge says it can tow. It don't care. I don't think economy with the 1964 413 New...

    3:55 gears on the street

Correct. 1993 230horse V/8 auto Dakota 3.55 rear, the overdrive failed, locks up the rear tires. Performed overdrive delete and run straight 3.55. The truck don't care, I don't care. 2 mpg drop at 70. No drop in town. 300k and climbing. Also have one with 3.91. Probably wouldn't work for that one.

93 V/8 Dakota. 3.91 auto overdrive. Nice around the suburbs. 98 360 B3500 van 4.88 auto over drive. That's the hot setup for heavy towing at 55 mph overdrive off. 64 413 New Yorker 2.92. Sweet at 80 all day. And others.

It doesn't matter what I' driving from the 60s or 70s, somebody wants to talk about it.

    273 or 225?

First rodeo, long drawn-out can of worm's V/8 swap. I can see the case for a 225 refresh. Why the lock up? Maybe it's just a crank job? Timing chain wrapped? Cam seized? Was it burning oil past the rings? Ever overheated? How many miles on the 225?
